Congratulations Team Juneau members! We won the Primary Election!
53,786 people voted to support the Juneau ticket for State Superintendent of Public Instruction! That was 37% of the Democratic Vote. Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I am humbled by your support.
This victory would not have been possible without the many volunteers we had across the state and I am in deep gratitude to all of you who worked hard on behalf of this campaign. It is because of people like you that our campaign gained a statewide presence and won 27 of 56 Montana counties. Thanks to those of you who endorsed the campaign, sponsored fundraising events, made phone calls, stuffed envelopes, dropped campaign literature, planted yard signs, wrote letters to the editor, and contributed money. Volunteers are the life-blood of any campaign and I am proud to have the BEST campaign volunteers anywhere! I cannot thank you enough.
I am running for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction because Montana’s public schools deserve a leader with a clear understanding of all aspects of the K-12 educational system—a leader with proven experience in working with diverse groups and individuals to successfully carry out sound educational policy.
